Silvery Moon

I started to paint this painting and decided to try something different. I put in three shades of different colors (Blue, green and pink.) across the page. Then I proceeded to paint objects that I thought would go in this painting. I thought of things of the desert, and something that might go in this painting with the colors that I chose. I painted a large moon in this scene as I think that the moon looks larger at night in the southwest desert shining over the yuccas. In nature, the moon at night comes out maybe to give more light to the night creatures that inhabit the desert.
