    I am happy to report that one of my miniature paintings “Home in The Hills ” won 2nd place in the mixed media category at the Masterworks Bardean Miniature Art show in Albuquerque, NM this year.  This painting also won 3rd place in mixed media at the 2016 Miniature Painters, Sculptors, and Gravers Society (MPSGS)  show in Washington, DC.  I typically exhibit the same painting in two or more competitions each year in miniature art shows nationally and internationally. ...

Miniature Painting wins Award at Mariposa, CA

Hi All: I want to share my joy at finding out that one of my miniature paintings recently took an award (2nd place) at the annual miniature paintings competition at the Sierra Artist’s Gallery in Mariposa, CA. Trip to Zocalo Gallery , Las Vegas New Mexico To Display “Retablos”

New Paintings

Today, I want to take this time to write about several paintings that I just posted .  I recently painted two paintings on aluminum and three paintings on clay board. Sentimental Journey & My Secret Garden

Recently I have tried another surface to paint on. I ordered some aluminum artist’s panels that are a fairly new development. The panels are composed of two sheets of highly polished aluminum, one brushed and the other smooth, sandwiching a core of 1/8th inch polyethylene.
